free transportation spacious room à la carte options
the complimentary transportation to and from the port was very convenient. our room was spacious and neatly maintained. the breakfast included both buffet and à la carte options with great views. i was very impressed with the staff's attentiveness to detail.
the room wasn't dark enough at night. i wished it was possible to block more light.

breakfast option hill location restaurant view late driver unfriendly driver constant noise
the breakfast had many options. i could order several choices. the restaurant where i had breakfast offered a nice view. the hotel is situated on a hill so i could walk down to little venice.
the driver was late to pick me up at arrival. i waited for 50 minutes. the driver did not seem friendly. the hotel is between two roads, i could hear the noise constantly.

the breakfast was acceptable, it had a sufficient variety of choices.
i found the room's soundproofing inadequate. sounds from adjacent rooms, like moving chairs or showers, were clearly audible. this impacted the overall tranquility i expect.

the free breakfast was very nice! i could order from a menu alongside a large selection of meats, juices, yogurt, and nuts. there was also a complimentary mercedes van to the core at 7, 8, and 9 pm, a very useful service. i especially enjoyed my sea view room, it was very clean and comfy. the pool area had high-quality umbrellas and chairs, alongside a great pool bar.
i did notice slight noise from nearby roads at times, but it wasn't too bad.

I was not thrilled about the spotty internet service. It was available but consistently dropped, a big problem when I needed to handle work emails (it was frustrating!). Waking up to that kind of racket is never a pleasant experience and made it difficult to sleep in. The limited hours for the airport shuttle were also inconvenient.

port transfer restaurant recommendation
the hotel provided complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from the port. this service made our arrival and departure very convenient. the hotel also offers hourly pick-up from the main area to the hotel each evening. the staff offered helpful tips about the island, including restaurant recommendations (very useful!).
the hotel is located on a hill, so walking to and from the town center involves climbing many stairs. this could be challenging with mobility issues. i recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the walk.
